The Call of the Busbar part 1

Part One: The Call of the Busbar
In the vibrant city of Decatur, the night sky illuminated with a distress signal—a gigantic busbar silhouette projected by a spotlight. Captain Busbar and The Copper Powered Components responded promptly, heeding the mayor’s plea for help.
Upon the majestic Meigs County Courthouse, an awe-inspiring structure akin to the Seven Wonders, they met the mayor. The electrical grid crisis had thrown Meigs County into turmoil. Local rumors hinted at spirit activity, with eerie howls and ghostly sightings chilling the residents.
The mayor suggested seeking Colton Rose, a renowned local artifact hunter and tracker with deep Cherokee roots—a figure as legendary and adventurous as Indiana Jones himself. Colton’s heroic endeavors in retrieving artifacts spanning all the way back to the age of dinosaurs, has made him a beacon of hope and courage for the Citizens of Decatur, TN.
Utilizing his powers, Captain Busbar pinpointed Colton’s location and teleported Groundswell, Ampere, and Voltmaster to Colton’s location.
Suddenly, they found themselves in a surreal realm devoid of reality—a place of dreams and enigma. This realm existed outside of time and space, a place beyond human comprehension.
Colton’s voice boomed, questioning their intrusion into his solitude.
Captain Busbar earnestly explained Meigs County’s plight, detailing how the electrical chaos could lead to devastation and starvation. “Imagine if McDonalds and The Piggly Wiggly were unable to provide healthy nourishment for the area. Casualties would number in the thousands within a matter of hours.”
Materializing into view, Colton exuded warmth and wisdom—a gentle soul, always lending a helping hand and wearing a radiant smile. His mere presence comforted even The Copper Powered Components, the invincible grounding-based guardians of the multiverse.
Placing a hat on his head, Colton revealed whispers of an artifact bridging the electric and spiritual worlds, hidden within the haunted house atop Eaves Bluff.
While fear gripped everyone’s heart, Colton assured them that the true menace was the necromancer, entrenched in the house for centuries.
Individually, Colton bestowed sacred Cherokee wisdom upon each member of The Copper Powered Components. To Captain Busbar, he spoke, “Embrace the storms within you, for they shall ground you even in the fiercest tempest.”
To Groundswell, he shared, “As the earth trembles beneath your feet, find your strength in balance and harmony.”
To Ampere, he imparted, “Your electric currents flow with purpose, let them guide you to illuminate the darkness.”
To Voltmaster, he advised, “Harness the lightning within, wield your power responsibly and it shall be your greatest asset.”
Captain Busbar clasped Colton’s hand, entrusting him to lead them back to reality and towards the haunted house on Eaves Bluff.
Upon awakening, Captain Busbar and The Copper Powered Components found themselves in a small tepee filled with dense smoke. Although soaked with sweat, they felt Colton’s wisdom resonate within them and wash over their bodies like milk flowing from a cow’s udder.
Colton proclaimed, “Guided by my ancestors, Decatur shall withstand the forces of evil. I have vanquished evil countless times, and each victory strengthens my resolve. In turn, the evil returns stronger as well.”
Their alliance sealed, Captain Busbar, Groundswell, Ampere, and Voltmaster embraced their destiny. The shadows of Eaves Bluff beckoned, but united, they would confront any darkness that threatened Meigs County and its people.
